Platform VR

For this VR version of the game, we wanted to focus on weapon handling and realistic interactions. For that, it was necessary to rework the old VR system to include physics colliders on the hands and work that into a full body IK system. For that we are going with the Hurricane VR to provide the physics and extra grabbing and handling functionalities along with a few upgrades im doing to cover some specific use cases.

Basically, im focusing right now on two comprehensive functionalities: a climbing/physics failsafe, which will add climbing functionalities and implement failsafes for when the hands get stuck on terrain or dragged away, and a script that would expedite the process of configuring a custom mixamo model to work in VR.

The first one is self explanatory. The second one involves creating a flow that incorporates most of the logic of the tools provided and steps necessary to adapt the custom mixamo hands to work as custom HVR physics hands, by adding colliders, the necessary components and configuring the position of each fingers joints. Im not sure yet how much of the process would be automated and how much would required the user to configure directly (such as the position of the joints on each finger, its a visual task), but we will most certainly need a pre-configuration/setup step for those when the user decides to upload a custom model.
